Petrol or electric? The 508 PSE gives you the best of both. It’s powered by an innovative PHEV powertrain with a 200hp turbocharged petrol engine and dual electric motors. The combined power output is 360hp with 520Nm of torque. One motor drives the front wheels and another drives the rear wheels, giving you four-wheel drive.
The 11.5kWh battery also gives you a 26-mile WLTP electric range. On short journeys you won’t use any petrol at all - unless you want maximum attack for a great twisty road. 5 driving modes are available including Comfort, Sport, Hybrid and Electric mode. The power, response and refinement is far above any other 508, and so is the technology on offer. A smart electric tailgate, 12.3” digital driver’s display, 10” touchscreen and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go are available.

Design

The 508 PSE stands out with 20” alloy wheels, Kryptonite colour detailing, full LED headlights and taillights and Alcantara and leather sports seats. It’s beautiful inside and out with a digital cockpit with a 12.3” digital driver’s display.

Drive

The performance stats are seriously impressive - 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds and 50-75mph in 3 seconds flat. The 8-speed automatic gearbox is smooth and responsive, and the ride quality is perfect for British roads with three-mode adaptive dampers.

Practicality

Despite its large battery pack, the 508 PSE has the same space and practicality as the regular 508. That means you get a 487-litre boot, lots of passenger space, 60-40 split-folding rear seats and a hands-free electric tailgate.
